The monthly show that explores the world of wine writing. Stevie Kim is on the road. So once again, I'm asking the questions to professor, Okay. So you know how this works. Members of the international Italian wine community send us their tricky wine related questions. And every Friday, we choose one for the professor to answer in his own inimitable way. Our question today comes from Yvonne Zohar. Yvonne is one of the newest Italian Y ambassadors who successfully passed the exam here in Verona in April. So congratulations, Yvonne. Here is our question. I often go to crete where I talk with winemakers and archaeologists. As you know, cretins are minoans, where the seafarers of the ancient world. Trading pottery and wine for materials they needed, such as metals. In Greece, they date the contact between Italy much earlier than your research shows how do you explain the difference. It's gonna be aveeno, ceramic, Evino, that's it. Mhmm. You know, sir. You know, I think I we are into the area and then all of it. The such as the mental model. Okay. Interesting. Yvonne has a follow-up question. And is this in the north of Greece and the Pantheon mountains and unidentified red variety was discovered after years of research and DNA testing, it turned out to be an old Greek variety, non identical to any Greek or foreign grape.
