The primary focus is Orma, a 7.5-hectare property in Bolgheri, Tuscany, strategically located near famous estates like Ornellaia and Sassicaia. Amadeo elaborates on Orma's diverse terroir, ranging from sandy coastal soils to rocky, iron-rich inland areas, and its philosophy of expressing the unique ""footprint"" of the land through its Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon blend wines. He also touches upon the ""non-challenges"" of managing multiple distinct Tuscan estates, emphasizing effective communication. Amadeo shares how the COVID-19 pandemic, despite its difficulties, accelerated the adoption of digital communication tools, making wine promotion more accessible. He describes a recent vineyard event, a sunset tasting for 100 guests featuring Tuscan food pairings, held twice yearly. Briefly, he mentions their Sicilian estates in Flueita Market (coastal) and Animardente (Etna), highlighting Etna's growing popularity. The podcast begins with an advertisement for ""Vineita Lee Road Show"" events promoting Vinitaly. I'd like to have to catch a plane, you know, everybody's busy, but We have Amadeo, baby Moreti. We for we didn't talk about Olma, which is in Bulgaria, tell us a little bit about that. When you've started We got Ormon two thousand four. Mhmm. Orma is actually in Burgery, which is a dream play. Berogie is so beautiful because you have eleven hundred hectares. The appalachian is very small. Yeah. It's tiny. It's very tiny, but it's in a super beautiful place because it's exactly in front of the sea. In Marima, north part of Marima. And the terrar and the soil is very collected because you go from the sands, which is, of course, by the sea for a sandy sandy soil, up to the Rocky, like, red rocky full of iron, like, very huge minerality. And then suddenly, you have this beautiful Machia Medi Terania. And then just behind of it, you have this beautiful Alpequani, which protect actually the area from the cold freeze of the north. We call it Orma because this is in a specific place. Orma Nitharanga means footprint. So it's seven point five hectares in the via Bulgaria, which like, a very good area for, vines. And, we're just next to Ornelaya, and, the vineyards of Saskcaya. So when we got this very small property, the idea was like to put our footprint in the middle of the big giants. And I said, but it's a small property. Right? It's seven point five hectares, and robotics, no, planted five point five. Okay. So five. Of Melo, Cabernet franc in Cabernet, what wines are you producing in Olima? We just we're producing two wines. Orma, which is the, I the the crew, and then the little brother, which is the Burberry dog. And, actually, it's the same supply, same blend, but, pasted the Ooma camp from the youngest times and Ooma camp from the from the eldest one. And what are your, I mean, what are your, developments? Like, what do you see in the future, with Olima? Orma, Orma, we want to be, like, every time we get, like, a a property or a state. Mhmm. We really want to represent the terrain. We fully log first of the terrain because we always sing we're fairly locked with Orma, and we're burglary Once we get there, when you breathe and you see all the beauty that is there, we always think that the vines is gonna live and gonna breathe and gonna live the same as we feel. So every time we get a new States, we want to to to represent and to express at its best the terrar. And, all might have to be, like, a bourdub lens, but that it has this soul and this, not a creativity because it's too strong, but this, like, strong, strong soul of the terrar. So what are the main challenges of, you know, having three different estates in Tuscany? What are the main challenges? Well, it's not really a challenge because all of them are very special and very different. And when you taste the wines, you see that it really come from a different specific, estate. So it's, it's just a matter of explaining what we do where we produce it and let the people recognize that it's a different wine and recognize where they're from, what is the characteristic, what is the flavor, what is the taste. So it's just a matter of communicating, of communications, of, make people taste, of, tell the story behind what we do, how we do. That's that's that's the beauty of it. Actually, it's not a challenge. So listen, when did you start with the company? I started on two thousand and nineteen. Okay, sir. Very, very, you know, just before the pandemic. Right? Exactly. So you've basically, you've started and then the pan you bought pandemic. You bought the pandemic. That's not a good sign actually. Yeah. And now that the pandemic I mean, it's not over yet. Right? But we are cohabitating. Right. What are what are some of the new ideas that you have? As Amadeo, as the youngest, as the new arrival into the the wine company of the family business? First of all, what would you like to do? Now, first of all, we noticed that there are now so many different way to be connected to the people, the love wines. So even through internet, even to Zoom meeting, even through podcasts, like, the pandemic, like, help us out to find, like, a lot of new ways to get in content to people. So before, it was, like, mainly one to one meeting or one to one business, and We had this idea that if you're not there with the wine and having people in front of you, like, that make them tasting, it wasn't the same thing. Mhmm. But now, like, everything is more approachable, more reachable. Like, in terms of getting touch, getting content, communication, marketing, promotion. So, it really, really, really help us, by all the world. I mean, it's not the wine business. I think it's a general thing. It shortcut the way you can communicate. And it's it's more more and more approachable and more, like, getting easy to get close to the people that you want to get in touch with. Italian wine podcast. Brought to you by mama jumbo shrimp. So tell us a little bit about the the potty that you threw last night. Yeah. Oh, last night, we we had the amazing tasting in the vineyards actually in between You're almost like a wedding planner. We were going crazy. Right? Yeah. There wasn't a cake. Actually, if we missed the cake. Yeah. No. We were exactly two between two of the Merloper cell last night. Mhmm. We have this, like, kind of a gate, setting of tables. Like, it was, like, one big row. We've got a hundred people sitting on this table. And, I think it's a very, very nice evening because we have it like, at at sunset, so from eight PM. And we usually taste some red wine, but also we had some ceciline wine, white wine, and rosette, and we try to pair it with typical Tuscan food. So we had, like, the typical porchetta that I know you love very much. Yes, pork. Yes. Which is actually, like, a very typical task and meal. We had pancanilla, which, is is a meal with bread, tomato, Sedano, and, Chitriono. And, it's actually very typical from from Tuscany because you have to prepare it with the old dry br braids. Yeah. So we had, this kind of like a buffet style Yeah. But with served with your wines. Excellent. And you've invited about hundred guests. Exactly. Yeah. It kinda reminded, kind of the event that the the viol violone de cipresi from Borgheery. Right? They do that. That's because we have a line of Cyprus in the sun. Yeah. But it was really lovely. And but how often do you do this? We do this kind of event twice a year in summer. So just a small segue into the other estates because you do have other estates, not just in Tuscany, but also in Sicily, our next favorite, region. Where are your wineries in fleweta market, which is in total south of Sicily, like the south part of Sicily, if you see the But but it's in inland. Right? Inland. Yes. Mhmm. No. It's not in. It's by the sea. It is sea side. It is sea side. Yeah. It's by sea side, but in the south. And then we have Animardente, which is in the Aetna volcano. Right. Everybody knows where Aetna is. That's kind of the sexy wine from Sisley. Right? Yes. I actually have been there. Did you feel the energy of the volcano once you get there? I always feel like this strong energy. I I think I think, everyone just loves being in Aetna and also, the wines. People love Aetna wines right now, especially the Americans. So Hopefully, we can go and, you know, visit your estates also in Sicily very soon. We can wait. Okay. Alright. So that's a wrap for now. I know we're heading into Aitzo and, Amadeil. Is going to be kind of our chicharrones. He's going to show us, you know, where to get the best coffee and and best pastries and give us a lovely ton. How how far is Adexa from here? Fifteen minutes back. Okay. So Alrighty. So, and that's a wrap for now.
