Carlo introduces his company, founded in 1933, highlighting its historical significance as one of the oldest cooperatives in Puglia. He explains that it now comprises around 300 members cultivating 300 hectares, primarily focusing on red grape varieties like Negroamaro and Primitivo, with smaller amounts of Chardonnay, Cabernet, and Syrah. Carlo describes Salento, where the winery is located, as a ""little California"" due to its climate tempered by the proximity to both the Ionian and Adriatic Seas, which imparts minerality to the wines. He details the characteristics of Negroamaro (old vines, structure, color, body, alcohol) and Primitivo (versatile for normal, late harvest, or sweet Passito wines). He also mentions Malvasia Nera for Passito production, suggesting pairings with strong cheeses and mushrooms. Carlo states their main export market is Germany, followed by other European countries, Asia, and the United States, with a total production of one million liters, Primitivo being their best seller. And, I want to speak about my company because, my company is, very oldest, the cooperative, in Apulia. He's born in nineteen thirty three. In the beginning, there were, twelve farmers next, here's more customers, around five hundred members with, five hundred hectares, good division. So, basically, very each each grower had a small amount of, vineyard, say five hundred growers with five hundred hectares, it's average of one hectare per grower. Yes. And total hectares of binds that they have. Three hundred hectares. Right. Okay. Yes. We produce, two thousand, pintals. Two thousand quid. So quintal is a hundred kilos. A hundred kilos. Yeah. Okay. We produce more, negramaro, premitivo grapes, and more red grapes. And a little bit, chardonnay, cabernet, and Sierra. So you're in the you're in the open you're in an area called the Salento, which is a very hot area of Italy, isn't it on Italy's adriatic coast. Salento. We produce some thing, from other grapes. For example, we have, Malazianera. Malazianera is, very often, grapes, more sweet, and you can obtain, very good natural. So what do you drink a passito? If you're having, like, a primitivo passito from Salento, what would what would you what do you drink that with at home? And with a, cheese, what's a good match like for macho? Yes. You can, combine it with, cheese, herb, herb, herbs, she she's, Gurgonzola with the mushroom mushrooms. Okay. Sounds good. And what are your main export markets?
