In the glass, bright aromas of white flowers, acacia, white buttercups, Jasmine, and riper citrus, and both green and yellow apple flavors on a fresh light high acid palette. Susumanielo, red, description one of the lesser known white grapes from Pugia. It is grown mainly in the Salica Salindo area. Also called Suso Marielo and Zingarielo associated regions and COPs. Pulia, it has grown mainly in the countryside around body and Brindisi. It is usually blended with negromaro. Monovarietal wines are rare. They are allowed in the DOC wines Brindisi and Scrinzano. In the vineyard, medium sized bunches and berries, very high vigor and productivity, especially in the first ten to fifteen years. In the glass, the wine starts out rude and tannic when young. With six to eight years of battle age, it softens and becomes smooth and stylish. It is characterized by plenty of dark cherry and plum aromas and flavors.
