Welcome to another installment of everybody needs a bit of Shanesa. Today's show is one of our special Shenza in the Minsa episodes. And this time, the professor Sore, Stevie, and Pizza Boy, aka Burger Boy, are digging into some sushi. And then pairing it with some great wines. Welcome everybody. My name is Stevie Kim. I am here with, of course, professor atelioshenza. Also known as everybody needs a bit of And we have our prototyping. He is our Zenzi specialist in mostly just eating a lot. Okay. And we started this series kind of where we tried what did we do first? We did pizza, and we tried to do some food pairing. Sounds good. And hamburger, your favorite. We did McDonald's last time. And here, by great demand, now we're at a sushi place. This place is called Yama sushi restaurant. It's actually right just near the office. That's why we're here. And it is one of those places Yes. Indeed. It is sushi all you can eat kind of place. I never come here, but the gentleman to my left, Matia comes here all the time. And last time he was here when were you here last time? About three weeks ago. Three weeks ago. And how many sushi have you eaten last time? Seventy five. Seventy five. So today, he has this crazy gen z idea. He wants to eat How many? Maybe one hundred. Maybe one hundred. I mean, it's kind of absurd and it's crazy shit, but this is what the gen zs do. So what we're trying to do is introduce some gen z element to what we're doing, which is wine education, and wine podcast, and mama jumbo shrimp. So today, we we will be doing sushi at Yama restaurant. Okay. So tell us a little bit. I and then I'm mister Prima Avina, the aperitivo, to what her appetite is? No. No. D. Okay. Cheen. Good luck. Good luck to you. Thank you. Good luck to Matia. Hello. That's a lot of lot of sushi. Uh-uh. This is in the beginning. Yeah. This is just the beginning. Okay. Let's try Vermentino. Let's start eating. So this, I don't know if you've seen it. Everyone's eating already. This is a little. We'll try with, three wines. For seco, Vermentino, and and, this amore. Alright. What are we eating next? Okay. Here. One one. Okay. So this is the wasabi. Right? They've been made to the report in through, No. No. Okay. This is This is with, Octopus. It's a what is it called? Alright. Who's ready for Scava? So thank you very much. They found out that I was fond of Scava. And they they sent me some Scava. It's very good. Number one right now. Have you all noticed that the food is on that side? There's no food here on this side. Okay. Give me some food, Matia. Are you enjoying this podcast? There is so much more high quality wine content available for mama jumbo shrimp. Check out our new wine study maps or books on Italian wine. Including Italian wine unplugged and much, much more. Just visit our website, mama jumbo shrimp dot com. Now back to the show. Pleasure. Alright. So this is, Louis and Giovanni from Barbara. Alright. It's sushi. Cheers. They left three sushi for me. So kind. Okay. And, Chris, if you can send a more to the patient. We're going to try the sangiovese. Supportive patient. It's very nice. So we have all the wines at the at the on the table right now. It's like it's live. He's live. I'm I'm sure I'm gonna get a lot of viewers now. Alright. Seventy five. Last time he was here three weeks ago, seventy five. Now seventy six. One more than last time. Seventy six. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight wine. These were the wines for sushi today. A particular what is the update? Eighty? Yep. What's the number? Eighty one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So the winner is from this, the wine pairing. Are two ones, Sciaba, and Olvieto. I think we're gonna have to close, because first of all, Rizzi is like he's completely like Fradice. He's like sweating bullets. I'm not sure how this is going to end. You keep you keep tuned. We will give you a little, like, outtakes in the end. But for now, we're going to end. We have tasted eight fabulous wines, Italian wines, one better than the other, to be quite honest, to be paired with, sushi. We ate, mostly raw fish, or raw fish kind of plates. And the winner, like I said, is luigi de giovanna Orvieto, and, of course, that's a wrap. See you next time. Chata Gazi. Join us for more, and give us some suggestions, by the way, what we should do next. Chantae was saying that he should be like pasta. He's gonna make some pasta sauce, but let us know what you'd like to do with Shenza in the menza series with the gen z. He's he's dying right now. So I don't know what's gonna happen, but He's not healing very well after how many? Eighty three, sushi. He was going for one hundred. Yeah. I'm not sure if he's going to be is he's going to make one hundred, but stay tuned. Satagatse from Yamasushi right next to our office. Chinchi. Wait. I have my scala. Hold on. Hold on.
