Italian wine podcast. Chinchin with Italian wine people. Hello. This is the Italian wine podcast. My name is Monte Walden. My guest today is Aleisandra Stelza. Hi. Hi, everyone. Alright. Just tell us the name of your family winery and where it is located, please. Okay. My name is Aleksandra, and I'm the daughter of, the owners of, Maser Martis. So I'm the second generation of this, winery. And my main job is about marketing and communication and visit and taste things, in, in the inquiry. Maso Martis was founded by my parents in nineteen ninety, and, Maso, is, the typical structure that you can find there in, in Trentin, you know, with the land all around, why Martis is the ancient name of, the village where the winery is located. Okay. So did you rewind with you today? And if so, which one did you bring? Yes. I bring our flagship wine. Is this one? This is, mother Marcus, two thousand and eight, and these are nine years aged wine. Okay. So it's a traditional method sparkling wine. It's a trento doc. Is that right? Yes. It's a trend to dock. My parents started the production in nineteen ninety with the aim to, product mainly, classic methods back in line. Okay. And is you organic or, anything like that? Yes. So we are certified as an organic farm, both in the vineyard and in the winery since two thousand and thirteen. Because your family home is right in the middle of the vineyards, and I think that your mom is there. So we're very keen to, live in a sort of, any nicer environment should we say by, by going organic So I bet you and your you have sisters, right, way sister at least. Yes, sir. We work and live there. My parents, my sister, and, and I all together, then we have some some other workers, of course. Oh, okay. So have you opened that bottle? Can you taste it or not? Have you got a glass with you? Yeah. Of course. Okay. So how many months is this left on the on the lease before you bottle? One hundred and eight. One hundred and eighty days. Once. Yes. Nine years. Yes. Nine year. Yes. Nine years. You're very happy with one space in Panolini or something. Yes. This is a project that, my parents want, in nineteen ninety nine. The first vintage of this one is, nineteen ninety nine. And, they produce just a few bottles. Five hundred bottles at the beginning. Today, we produce, more or less, two thousand and a half bottles. Okay. Go and give it a taste. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So wait, if you want. This is a really full bodied mind. Yeah. I want you to to try this one, one day, of course. This is very creamy and balanced at the palette. Was the blend? Was it a hundred percent chardonnay or was it mixed? No. It is an unusual way is, seventy percent of, pinot noir, twenty five percent of old chardonnay and the five percent of many it sounds like it's a sparkling wine that would be very good with food. What is a what is a classic dish when you're all together as a family? And you have a dish? With with fish, this is perfect. Perfect. Okay. And, when you were small, were you were you doing the harvest yourself? Were you put out there picking the grapes with you or with your family or were you just staying at home watching TV? No. No. No. No. We have, to pick altogether. We have, of course, other ten guys that, came helping us, we picked care all the twelve hectares we have by hand. So we have a great selection of the grapes, in the vineyard. Okay. So what's your favorite dish with this? You know, when you're at home on your own, Nobody else for you. Yeah. For example, fish ravioli. Okay. Revioli did with fish. It's perfect. So probably this this night that we will try. Make those yourself. You're a good cook. Yeah. Yeah. My my sister love pork more than me. Yeah. Okay. Now final question. Obviously, sparkling wine is kind of like a luxury wine for many people. When you go to, like if you need to leave or something like this, what is your favorite outfit in terms of, Visti? What is your clothing? What is you what do you do to go for something relaxed and casual? Or are you always incredibly smart? No. I like, fitting, like, occasional. Generally. Okay. I I love, treat myself, so using, lip stick and stone, but casual coats. Okay. So you seem you seem like you're very happy if you're you're happier if you're in the vineyard with no makeup, your jeans, rather than being very smart and precise in the Yeah. Yeah. Especially in this particular moment for Italy, we are, very, very, very lucky to live there. I think some artists, of course, in the vineyards. An isolated spot. Okay. Well, listen, we wish you and your family, every success. Thank you very much for, talking with us today and also sharing virtually Thank you. Incredibly tasty glass of wine, and that one has been very, successful, you know, in, five stars. So well done, you, well done your family, and we wish you, health and happiness in the future. Thank you. My pleasure. Thank you very much. We're really nice meeting you virtually. Bye. Thank you. So we have to keep the interview short because doing them with video, it's quite, heavy in terms of, in terms of sending it, on the internet. Normally, we just do, like, we just do audio with, with the podcast, we're just trying to help, do something a little bit different during this kind of crisis time where, at least people can see you on the video and then they can see what you're like rather than just listening to my voice or your voice. So that's really the idea. Oh, you're a superstar. You know, you got a great, you know, career in TV if you want to. You know, if you want it to be on TV, you can ditch the winemaking, just become a TV presenter or something. Oh, good. I lost mine. Your last words is the headphones come off. Anyway, I hope to come and visit you in your, in your, in your estate sometime because looking at the photos on your website, it looks absolutely stunning where you where you live and work. And if anybody just give us the name of your website, the URL. Okay. We'll we'll we'll w w w. Yeah. W point, Masso Martis point eighty. Yeah. There's a stunning photograph on, on your home page. There's a lovely picture of the family, and then if you dig in, you'll get a beautiful aerial view of the hills, of, of friendo, and, must be a beautiful place to work. You're very lucky. Thank you very much. Thank you. Been great to see you and to meet you. And hopefully, we can meet in person one day. We hope the same. Thank you very much. Thank you. Bye bye.
